Each pendant combines three materials, each chosen for a specific role. The colored shades are glass, which gives the stacked forms their depth, gloss and rich color, and holds its tone over time without fading the way painted or plastic shades can. Inside, a slim acrylic light guide runs through the center of every glass piece, spreading the LED light evenly along the column so you see a clean line of light rather than visible hot spots. The canopy, connectors and fittings are metal with a matte black finish, which keeps the structure rigid and visually quiet so the glass remains the focal point.

Colored glass is a transmissive material. Switched off, you see the color reflected from its surface; switched on, light passes through it from the inside. Darker tones such as purple appear deep and gradated in daylight, while lit from within they reveal a warm, translucent glow. White glass reads as soft opal when off and becomes the brightest, most diffused element when on. Because glass color is affected by thickness, curvature and production batch, slight variations in tone from piece to piece are normal and part of the character of a glass light, not a defect.

The lamp uses an integrated LED at 3000K, a warm white color temperature in the same range as traditional halogen lighting. On the Kelvin scale, lower values look warmer and more amber, higher values look cooler and bluer. 3000K sits in the range most lighting designers recommend for living spaces because it flatters skin tones, wood and natural materials, and makes food look appetizing. It is ideal for dining rooms, living rooms, bedrooms, hallways and hospitality spaces. Light is emitted through the glass rather than projected downward, so the pendant works best as ambient and decorative lighting; for detailed tasks such as food prep, pair it with recessed or under-cabinet task lighting.

Yes, a dimmable version is available for every model. Dimming depends on the LED driver built into the fixture, so the dimmable version is fitted with a dimmable driver before shipping and needs to be ordered as such. Contact us with the model and glass colors you have chosen and we'll arrange the dimmable version for you. Dimming suits this design especially well: lowering the output deepens the glass color and turns the pendant into a softly glowing sculpture, perfect for evenings and dinner settings. For best results, ask your electrician to use an LED-compatible wall dimmer.

No bulbs are required. The LED light source is integrated into the fixture, which is what makes the slim light column inside the glass possible; a screw-in bulb could not achieve this effect. Integrated LEDs are known for long service life, low heat output and low energy consumption compared with incandescent or halogen bulbs, and the low heat output also protects the glass and acrylic over years of use. The collection comes in two height groups. Models A to E and Model I measure 50–56 cm (19.7″–22″) tall with a diameter of 16–18 cm (6.3″–7.1″). They suit standard ceiling heights of around 2.4–2.7 m (8–9 ft) and work well above bedside tables, small dining tables and as part of a group. Models F, G and H are 76 cm (29.9″) tall, designed for higher ceilings, stairwells, double-height entryways and open-plan spaces, where a longer vertical silhouette fills the volume. A useful rule: the taller the ceiling, the longer the pendant body you can use while keeping comfortable clearance from heads and furniture.

As a professional guideline, the bottom of the pendant should sit about 75–90 cm (30–36″) above the surface of a dining table or kitchen island. This keeps the light low enough to create an intimate pool of glow while leaving clear sightlines across the table. In walkways, hallways and entryways where people pass beneath, keep at least 2.1 m (about 7 ft) of clearance from the floor to the bottom of the lamp. In double-height spaces, position the pendant so its full form is visible from the main viewing point, such as the foot of the stairs.

For surfaces up to about 1.5 m (5 ft) long, two pendants usually look balanced; up to 2.4 m (8 ft), three is the classic choice; longer surfaces can take four or more. Space them roughly 60–75 cm (24–30″) apart, and keep the outer pendants at least 15 cm (6″) inside the ends of the surface. Because the collection includes nine designs and two heights, you can also hang pendants at staggered heights for a sculptural cluster, a popular approach over round dining tables and in stairwells. Mixing models while repeating one or two glass colors keeps the composition cohesive.

The pendant runs on AC 110–240V, a universal input range. That covers the 110–120V standard used in the United States, Canada and parts of Latin America, as well as the 220–240V standard in the United Kingdom, Europe, Australia and most of Asia. No transformer or converter is needed. As a hardwired ceiling fixture, it connects directly to your home's lighting circuit rather than a plug socket, so plug types do not apply.

The Pebble Stack Pendant Light is a ceiling-mounted, hardwired fixture. The canopy attaches to a standard ceiling junction box and the pendant hangs from its suspension cable below. Because installation involves connecting to mains wiring, we strongly recommend a licensed electrician, which is required by building codes in many regions. Before installation, make sure the ceiling box is securely fixed and able to support the fixture, switch off power at the breaker, and handle the glass parts with care. If you plan to hang several pendants close together, your electrician can advise on separate junction boxes or a multi-point canopy.

This pendant is designed for indoor, dry locations. It is not suitable for outdoor use or for areas exposed to direct water spray, such as showers or above bathtubs. In bathrooms, local electrical codes define zones around water sources where only fixtures with a specific moisture rating may be installed. Average processing time is 5–10 days. During this period each pendant is prepared, assembled, inspected and carefully packed to protect the glass in transit. Shipping time is added after processing and depends on your delivery location. Always switch off the power and let the fixture cool before cleaning. Dust the glass regularly with a soft, dry microfiber cloth. For fingerprints or marks, lightly dampen the cloth with water or a mild, ammonia-free glass cleaner, applying it to the cloth rather than spraying the fixture, to keep moisture away from electrical parts. Avoid abrasive pads, solvents and harsh chemicals, which can scratch the glass or damage the matte black finish. Wipe the metal parts with a dry cloth only.
