Add the room’s length and width in feet; the total is roughly the ideal fixture diameter in inches. The 3-light (Ø 13.8″) suits hallways, closets and rooms up to about 8 × 8 ft, the 4-light (Ø 17.7″) suits bedrooms and kitchens around 9 × 10 ft, and the 6-light (Ø 23.6″) suits living rooms and larger bedrooms of 12 × 12 ft and up.

Flush mounts are ideal for ceilings of about 7–9 ft, where a hanging fixture would feel too low. At just 6.3–7.5″ tall, the Camellia keeps plenty of headroom in hallways, bedrooms and closets while still reading as a decorative piece.

Each light uses an E26 or E27 medium base socket: the 3-light takes 3 bulbs, the 4-light takes 4 and the 6-light takes 6. Bulbs are not included, so you can choose the brightness and color temperature you prefer. LED A19 bulbs are a good choice because they run cool inside the glass and last far longer than incandescent bulbs.

Brightness depends on the bulbs you choose. As a guide, bedrooms and hallways need about 10–20 lumens per square foot and kitchens about 30–40, so an 800-lumen LED bulb in each socket gives the 4-light about 3,200 lumens, plenty for a typical bedroom.

No. The white glass panels diffuse the light, so from below you see an even, milky glow rather than bright spots. The brass outlines between the petals stay visible as a decorative pattern when the light is on.

Switch off the power and let the bulbs cool, then unscrew the brass finial at the center to release the glass shade. Lower it carefully with both hands, replace the bulbs, and refit the shade and finial.

Switch off the power and let the fixture cool first. Wipe the glass with a soft cloth lightly dampened with mild glass cleaner, and dust the brass frame with a dry microfiber cloth, avoiding abrasive or ammonia-based cleaners.
