Which shape and size is right for my table?
Choose round for round or square tables, and linear for long tables or kitchen islands. Round: Ø 28.5″ for 42–54″ tables, Ø 34″ for 60–72″ tables, Ø 48″ for large dining rooms and foyers. Linear: 51″ for 72–84″ tables, 62″ for 84–96″ tables, 72″ for 96″ and longer.

Add the room’s length and width in feet, and the total is roughly the ideal diameter in inches. A 12 × 14 ft room suits the Ø 28.5″, a 15 × 18 ft room suits the Ø 34″, and larger rooms or double-height entries suit the Ø 48″.

Over a table or island, hang the bottom 30–36″ (76–91 cm) above the surface with an 8 ft ceiling, adding about 3″ for each extra foot of ceiling height. In entryways and walkways, leave at least 7 ft (213 cm) of clearance underneath.

The chandelier comes with a 39.4″ (100 cm) rod, which suits most standard ceilings. For vaulted or double-height ceilings, longer rods are made to order; just tell us your ceiling height and preferred hanging height when you order.

Choose E12 sockets, the standard in the US and Canada, or E14 sockets for Europe and other regions. Bulbs are not included; small candle-shape LED bulbs fit neatly inside the fabric shades and stay cool.

Brightness depends on the bulbs you choose, so you can set it to suit the room. For a dining room, a good target is about 30–40 lumens per square foot in total, and the white fabric shades keep the light soft and glare-free.

Yes. It is rated AC 110–240V, so it works in the US and most other countries; just use bulbs rated for your local voltage. It is hardwired and works with a standard wall switch (not included).

The canopy mounts to a ceiling junction box rated for the fixture’s weight, and the chandelier hangs from rigid brass rods. For the linear model, center the box over the table or island. We recommend installation by a licensed electrician.

Cognac brown feels warm and relaxed, and pairs beautifully with wood furniture and neutral tones. Black looks sharper and more tailored, and suits rooms with black hardware or dark accents.

Turn off the power and let the bulbs cool first. Dust the leather, brass and fabric shades with a dry, soft cloth, and avoid water, alcohol and household cleaners.

No. It is designed for indoor dry locations such as dining rooms, kitchens, living rooms and entryways, since leather and fabric are sensitive to moisture.

The Bridlewood Leather Chandelier pairs top-stitched leather with a brass frame and tapered white fabric shades, and comes in two shapes: a round hoop for dining tables, nooks and entryways, and a linear zigzag frame that lights a long dining table or kitchen island from end to end.
The idea comes from the tack room of an old American horse farm at the end of the day: saddles on the wall, leather worn soft and glowing, every seam traced in pale thread. That lived-in richness is what this leather chandelier brings to the table. The leather wraps the frame like a bridle strap, brass sleeves cinch it at every arm, and the fabric shades turn each bulb into a gentle pool of warm light, whether the table seats four or twelve.
